I love Oscar Wilde and usually appreciate his gift of words but this quote got me a little huffed and puffed. Why? Because it’s hypocrisy at it’s finest. Find a man uninfluenced by a parental figure and I will eat these words!
Thoughts, lives and passions are extensions of the people we surround ourselves with and the environment we are a part of. The reason we value these things is because they are taught to be valued. So, why worry about being a mirror? I say, bravo if you live a life of mimicry, opinions and quotations! At least you bothered to try! ❤
